30 Paintings in 30 Days - Day 12 - Tropical Sunrise

This is day 12 in the "30 Paintings in 30 Days" challenge with Leslie Saeta.

I used a reference photo I took in the Dominican Republic for this painting. We were there for my nephew's wedding. I went walking on the beach every morning and did mini sunrise paintings and took photos. With our cold NY weather this week I just had to do something tropical to warm things up.
