On Wednesday the Patchogue Sketch Club met at Flo's in Rocky Point. Flo's is a burger/clam shack that does a brisk business at this time of year. The colorful umbrellas make a colorful painting.
I resisted the food until it was time to head home, when I took some fried clams home for dinner.
Not much of a seafood person but I do love fried clams! And the sketch is so refreshing and so summer dreamy to me.
ReplyDeleteMore of your super paintings. I fancy the idea of fried clams... bet they are nice. BTW, the painting is very nice. I have been looking back through them and you do such a superb job on these paintings AND I will treasure my little ATC that arrived today. xxx
