Kinsale Part III

We ventured from Kinsale one day to Barryscourt Castle in Carrigtwoohill, just east of Cork.
The castle was really lovely, but not open for tours. I liked the building next to it reminded me of a building in Provence.

Another place that had great music was the Bar Cafe at the Blue Haven Hotel.
The first night we went there the band played mostly popular music, not traditional Irish, which was a change. There were 5 musicians, but I could only see 2 of them from our table.

Don't you just love a place that is this colorful?
Dalton's Bar also had traditional music one night, but we didn't get there.

  1. I love Dalton's Bar, Joan. So colorful and love the flowers.. You can see you had a wonderful time in Ireland!!!

  2. Ooh, I do love that red building!

  3. Joan - that color of Dalton's bar is beautiful. How neat to sit and listen to music in a pub. Thanks for sharing as always.

  4. Hilda - I was like a kid in a candy shop with all those colorful buildings. lol Thanks.

Sherry - Me too. Thank you.

Debbie - Thanks. There was live music almost every night if you wanted to go out.

  5. ...this is such a fab record, you should publish it. You have such interesting travel journals, a delight to see...
