Beach Life

Now that I'm home I've been spending a little time at the beach when it hasn't been raining.
There is always an endless supply of models in different positions...

or places right on the beach that would be wonderful to stay in for a while.
I used to dream about having a house on the beach, but after last year's hurricane damage
I don't want to OWN one any more...but I'll gladly come and stay. lol
This was done from Cupsogue Beach in Westhampton.

  1. Funny to read about you going to tyhe beach and here we are hiding from the cold and rain. Your beach models sketch is cute

  2. Joan - you certainly travel my friend - I think you have discovered that variety is the spice of life. Your sketches make me long for a day at the beach - maybe I can get there sometime this summer. Take care.

  3. Wonderful pieces, Joan. I'd be mortified if I ever saw my fat self in someone's painting! LOL I'd love to own a beach cottage myself...if I could find a place that was safe in all types of weather.

  4. Ugh, more rain today. I'd rather be on your beach. It looks great!

  5. Lorraine - Thanks.

Debbie - Thank you. Hope you can get to the beach.

Sherry - Thanks. Beach cottages are great. I love being close enough to the beach to get up and walk in the sand for sunrise.

Carol - I had to go to the Fire Island Lighhouse this morning to drop off paintings. Made it just before the rain started. Thanks.
