I always enjoy painting the houses I find in Bellport. This sketch is in the Arteza sketchbook and I'm almost done filling the pages. It will be hard to give it away to the library.
Joan I can see how hard it would part with your sketchbook. Will they return it to you down the road. I adore your house. Hope you will be seeing some sunshine too. We have been overcast and misty for the last three days. No rain but a light sprinkle or two. We sure could use the rain! Have a great end to your week. Hugs!
Thanks. The sketchbooks will be collected and become part of the Brookhaven Free Library where they will be catalogued and available for viewing by the patrons. They can't take them out of the library. We don't get them back.
Thank you. It is hard to part with so many sketches all at once. But at this point I have so many of them I can't imagine what I'd do with all of them.
Is that indian ink?
ReplyDeleteI have to intigrate ink as well next year, maybe Sepia.
Very inspiring !!
I used micron pens in the sketch and a thicker stiff brush pen to outline the sketch. Thanks.

DeleteBeautiful, Joan. Your sketchbook is a treasure. Nice idea for the library. Good on you for the donation.
