Last Wednesday the Patchogue Sketch Club met and our theme was horses. Luckily several of the other members had statues and horse models for everyone to use. I borrowed this one to sketch.
You can see from these photos that we had no shortage of models.
We do a lot of our sketching at the Patchogue/Medford Library. For the month of February our group has some of our sketches in the showcase at the front entrance of the library. The 3 sketchbooks on the top left are mine.
Joan you got nice shape and color on your horse. Makes me homesick in a good way. :-) Nice to have your sketchbooks on display.
ReplyDeleteIt is nice that we get to display our sketchbooks and sketches. Some of the people in the group never have the opportunity to do that except like this. The horse wasn't easy...but at least it was still. lol
