I went over to Robert Moses State Park last Thursday, figuring that by Friday it would be too cold to venture over there. That's when we had the cold snap. It was too windy to take a walk or to sit outside so I parked so I had a view over the foliage and went to town.
I like the rich foliage you put in the foreground. Even though you've sketched this lighthouse a hundred times over, you always have something new to keep it fresh-looking.
ReplyDeleteThanks, Mel. I often sketch it from the same spot in the parking lot, so I try to do it a little different.
DeleteWhat a lovely painting. Your sky is what sets the mood. I adore lighthouses. Beautiful friend.
ReplyDeleteDebbie, thank you. I love them too and will go out of my way to see one.
