Snow By The Dunes

The weather has improved since our snow storm and with a few days of above freezing temperatures and some rain, a lot of the snow is gone. Smaller piles still exist where the snow was plowed and some of it just settled in by the dunes. This was sketched from my mobile studio near Sayville Beach.

  1. Joan I thought of you during the winter storm that went up the East Coast. So funny to see snow in what is the sand dunes. Yesterday as I was out for my walk the sun was shining so bright that our snow made me think of a beach of white sand. I think I am longing for summertime - or at least spring. Hugs! P.S. Great sketch friend.

    1. Thanks, Debbie. Most of our snow is gone...which is fine with me. There are some piles here and there. I was surprised to still see some at the beach. Have a great week!

    1. Thanks, Jo. We have a lot of the grasses around here. It is hard to do a beach sketch without them. lol
