This is the only piece I did for the military project that is a snow theme. It hasn't snowed here in a while so I used one of my previous sketches from Sayville to do this one.
This one was done down near the Great South Bay in East Patchogue. That is Fire Island off in the distance. Two more to go to reach my total of 20.
The hazy background in the first watercolor is really nice! The trees are painted so beautifully!!!

DeleteLovely sketches Joan. We have snow and some rain today is washing it all out of the trees an making the world dreary - oh well, that is what we get with winter.
