I decided to do something a little different for me and use a music sheet for the background of my painting. I tried printing out the music on my regular watercolor paper but it wouldn't go through the printer. I ended up using regular copy paper. I will try another like this soon but see if I can find a better paper that works.
That's really cool, Joan! I think if you feed the watercolor paper in from the back instead of in the regular paper tray, that might work better.

Thanks for the suggestion. I am just going to try a thinner watercolor paper. I just need to cut it down to the right size.
DeleteThanks, Sandi!
ReplyDeleteThis worked out quite well from this side of the computer - lol. But, I know what painting on printer paper is like - a challenge!. Either way - great job Joan!
ReplyDeleteVal, the printer paper isn't much worse than some of the sketchbook paper.lol Thanks.
DeleteJoan, fantastic. Such a lovely idea. Good luck on finding the right paper. Maybe matt photo paper.
ReplyDeleteLooks like the ink on the music stayed put. I think the ink on my printer would run all over.
