The Patchogue Sketch Club met this week and our theme was fabric. Mark set up two stations of draped fabric for us to draw. I find it super hard to do fabric in watercolor so I resorted to using graphite and shading with a stump. I was pleasantly surprised at how these came out.
Folds and creases are so challenging to do but you handled it well with your choice of art materials. Fabulous!
ReplyDeleteThanks, Mel. Fabric is something I usually avoid sketching if possible.
DeleteAbsolutely super Joan. Wonderful work with the shading. This would be difficult in watercolor.
ReplyDeleteNicely done. Applause.
