These snow sketches were done right after the previous snowfall when I couldn't post anything to my blog. The first one was done in a local park looking uphill from the parking lot. There were a few bare spots where the shrubbery was.
The sketch below was done at the entrance to San Soucci Preserve in Sayville looking up the hiking/walking path. Of course for both of these I was sitting in my mobile studio.
These are wonderful! So happy for you that you got in a lot of snow sketches! Our white stuff was gone in 2 days, which I'm grateful for, but I kind of wanted it to stay for one more day so I could have sketched it again.
ReplyDeleteI guess having one storm on top of the other helps keep it fresh looking. Today some areas are getting snow again but we are had rain instead this morning, but it looks like flurries right now.
DeleteBeautiful sketches. By the time it quit freezing and we could get out in the snow it was melted.
ReplyDeleteYou don't need it down there...it just makes it feel colder. lol Thanks.
