After sketching in Northport recently I decided to go back to the same area and find another house to sketch. I liked the stone wall in front of this one.
Lovely! The stone wall always fascinates me. And the stone work is never the same for each property. Would be interesting to see your series on the houses you've painted/sketched previously.
A lovely sketch Joan. I like the touch of brick work beside the stone wall - adds a nice bit of colour. You do such a great job on buildings and yes, it would be nice to see all your house pieces in a collection or collage. Happy painting!
As usual great work Joan. I am feeling better and hopefully back to the blogging world!
ReplyDeleteThanks, Michael. I hope to see you posting soon!!
DeleteBoth the stone wall and house are beautiful! I bet the owner would love this.

ReplyDeleteMel, thanks so much. There are so many houses that I've done. It would be fun to see them as a series.
DeleteLove the blue and red. Lovely stone work.

ReplyDeleteI lose track of where I leave you a comment. But along with the boatyard these are one my favorite subjects. You really have the architectural knack.
