Well February sort of messed up the numbering for the "30 Paintings in 30 Days" Challenge since the month is over. My gouache challenge will continue today and tomorrow to meet my quota of 30 paintings. This was done at Indian Island County Park in Riverhead. The park has campsites and views along a beach along the Peconic River. I sat in my car facing the river to paint this.
Check out the other paintings being done during the challenge. They are here and are worth a look.

This is lovely Joan - so soft and peaceful. I really like the shadow over the bench; it looks like a great place to rest and just enjoy.
ReplyDeleteThanks, Val. It was so quiet and peaceful there since there were so few people in the park at all. I was surprised that there were people camping in rvs in the park at this time of year.
ReplyDeleteSeems a bit chilly for camping in your area. We’ve had a couple of lovely days after our cold spell. This is just beautiful.
ReplyDeleteThanks, Jo. I was happy with the way it came out...wish I had done it bigger.
DeleteReally lovely! A-ha -- so you are going to do 30! ;-)
