Double Dunes

I am trying to catch up with some paintings that missed getting posted before the 30 day challenge.
Both of these were painted along Dune Road in Hampton Bays from different parking lots.

  2. Well bet they got battered with the storm. Hmmm, does that mean you didn't draw today?? With anyone else, I'd say no, but you ..... well you are faithful and a day can't go by. Love these.

    1. Nelvia, yes the beaches got battered by the storms and the high tides, but that doesn't stop me from sketching at all.

  3. These are both great Joan but I especially like the bottom painting. Although I rarely do paintings that show the existence of people on our planet, I think the slice of man's occupation that you captured here is perfect. Maybe I need to add some of that touch to some of my work too.

    1. Thank you, Val. I liked the electric poles, wires and the beach fences in the area.

  4. Great sketching. I like the lines, too, they tug at my interest.
