Farmland

This is a small ATC (2.5 x 3.5) that I did of some farmland on the North Fork of Long Island.
I love the rows of green stretching so far back...I wonder what they're growing.

  1. Amazing that you can paint such a small landscape, you must have very small brushes and great eye sight for this, it's lovely.

  3. Beautiful, Joan! I've never done a landscape sketch this small, but I heard the Urban Sketchers are going to get some ATC's in Barcelona, so it will be fun to try some. You are an inspiration!

  7. Joan - I love long rows too...we have fields of sweet corn in our back field and I never tire of seeing them. When it rains the stalks have a wonderful sound. Hope you have a beautiful fourth of July! Lots of good eats, sunshine and hopefully a few minutes to sketch or paint.
