The Vineyard

Long Island's east end is becoming well know for its vineyards. The soil is perfect for growing grapes.
On Sunday when we were out east, we stopped at a winery. I liked looking through the rows of grapes and seeing this house which was across the street. This is 5 x 7.

  1. A lovely job on this, the perspective is particularly good, spot on!!! Love the sunflowers too, there's a nice atmosphere to this. I wish we had vinyards near us, I think they make great subjects, as do olive groves, again, not a chance of those here either. I would have been very tempted to sample the wine after sketching!!!

  2. I have to agree with Kev's comment above. This is just so lovely, Joan!

  3. Hello Joan!
Love all your latest blog posts. So hard to keep up with your wonderful art!
I especially love your series of people at the beach! Nice!
I love seeing you painting. You look so happy! Good for you!
    Enjoy the summer!

  4. Joan what a peaceful verdant scene. You did capture the perspective of this landscape and house. Just beautiful as always my friend. Have a great day.

  5. Kevin - Thanks! I was not just tempted...I sampled!

    Sherry - Thank you.

Michael - Glad you like them. Thanks!

Debbie - Thanks. There were a lot of green vines.
