I spent a good part of the morning baking cookies. After lunch I took a ride looking for something Christmasy to sketch but didn't find anything. Instead I sketched one of the items on the WetCanvas scavenger hunt list...a puddle. This was down by the water in Sayville. We had rain and a bit of snow the other day. There are quite a number of puddles around...mostly frozen.
Frozen puddles?? Brrr... Our puddles are so deep that cars are floating away in them! Not kidding! Submerged in standing water! What a deluge here. Still, I prefer it to snow! ;-)
ReplyDeleteSorry to hear you are having so much rain. We've had really cold temps for the last few days. It should be warming up a bit for the next few days and no rain/snow for our trip up to Maine...not sure about the return.
