While out east in Wading River the other day I came across this interesting bare tree with a background of these wild looking trees with red branches sticking out. I think the background trees are peach trees. I faintly remember seeing signs at one time that the field was part of the Davis Peach Farm.
I know exactly where this is. Beautifully painted once again. Love your work on the bark...
ReplyDeleteThanks, Hilda.
DeleteReally great textures here!
ReplyDeleteThank you!
DeleteMmmmm, mmmm, good. Love the texture.
ReplyDeleteJo, thank you so much!
DeleteJoan - you certainly captured the texture in the forefront tree as well as the peach ones in the background. It is so fun to sketch trees as this time of the year without all the foliage getting in the way. Stay warm. Hugs!
ReplyDeleteThanks, Debbie. These short trees were a surprise. I liked them.
DeleteA wonderful tree Joan! I always study trees in the winter and tell my students to study them too. It is surprising how much colour there is in trees that don't have foliage. Great colours in the big tree and a super sketch!
ReplyDeleteThank you so much!!!
