My Day 27 painting for the "30 Paintings in 30 Days" Challenge is Buck who belongs to my friend, Roseanne O'Reilly. For this painting I used watercolors, watercolor pencils, and ink.
Check out the work of the other artists here: https://www.saetastudio.com/30-in-30-blog
This sketch was done at the South Bay Portrait Group on Tuesday. I had finished my painting before the time was up, so I sketched the other artists at work.
And at work they are. Sometimes it is just fun, others it really is intense work. Saw Buck and could pick him out of the pack, so easy to recognize your style now. Love the colors you chose for him. Almost there!!
ReplyDeleteI'm glad you can recognize my style. Thanks! I can't believe we're nearly done.
DeleteYou certainly have kept with the challenge Joan, I admire your paintings and your dedication . I'll check out the link.
ReplyDeleteIt is a good challenge to start the new year. Thanks.
DeleteGreat job on this one Joan with super colours and really good eyes. The art group look very intense but portrait work is a REAL challenge.
ReplyDeleteSome of us in the portrait group are more intense than others, Val, but we all have fun. Thank you!
DeleteDear Joan the ink really adds texture to Buck who by the way looks like a handsome kitty. Loved Daisy from your previous post. Her eyes looking up adds the perfect touch. Wow you are almost finished with this challenge. Hooray once again you are going to have had a successful finish. Hugs!
ReplyDeleteThanks so much, Debbie. Just a few more to go!!
