Today means we are 1/3 through the "30 Paintings in 30 Days" Challenge with Leslie Saeta.
Today's Day 10 painting is of Willa who is the pet of my niece, Caity's girlfriend, Kate. I did this one using watercolors, watercolor pencils, and an ink brush.
We got home from Maine last night. Here is another one of the paintings that I did of a view out one of the windows at Tina's house across Hodgdon Street.
You absolutely have found the cutest models for this challenge. I like how he is pushing forward out of the picture.
ReplyDeleteThanks. People have sent the best photos for me to use.
DeleteTwo wonderful paintings Joan. I love the shadows from the melting ice on the road.. Excellent!
ReplyDeleteThanks, Hilda. It was so cold I can't understand how the ice was melting. lol
DeleteThis puppy made me smile and the other made me cold. That’s a good thing, right?
ReplyDeleteYes, that's a good thing. Thanks!
DeleteHa,ha, I think he is getting ready to lick the photographer - too cute, Joan. I think your sketches of the world around you are better than photos and wish I had the impetus to do some myself.
ReplyDeleteThat is sweet of you to say, Val. Thank you!
DeleteOh Willa is absolutely adorable. You did such a great job with her eyes. Also your painting of the street is wonderful. It looks like it was very cold that day. Enjoying seeing your art friend. Have a great day.
ReplyDeleteThanks, Debbie! My sister and I had a nice time finally getting together.
