All of a sudden time is running out in the "30 Paintings in 30 Days" Challenge and I still have quite a few photos from people of their pets. Day 24 is Rosie who belongs to my friend, Maggie Latham. Some of you may know her from her past blogs. I don't think her last one is active any more but I see her on Facebook. Rosie was painted using watercolors, watercolor pencils, black and white ink, and oil pastels.
Don't forget there is a lot of great artwork from this challenge and it can be found here: https://www.saetastudio.com/30-in-30-blog
Last week Jeff post for my portrait group. I had time for one long pose...
and one quick ink sketch.
Isn't it always the case, it seems it goes on forever and then there is no time. I am always feeling strange when it is over for the first couple of days and I don't have to post anywhere. Now to the important stuff, I am glad you got lots of pets to do because I think you are doing a great job with them. Also like your life drawings. Just a great job on the long pose.
ReplyDeleteThanks! It seems like everything I had to do came around the same time. lol
DeleteRosie looks so comfortable although a bit put out by being disturbed. - Good job on her. I think I like your quick sketch of Jeff better than the longer painting. It is too bad that subjects can't keep a smiling pose for artists because smiling faces are so much nicer to see - lol.
ReplyDeleteVal, thank you. I usually like the quick sketches of the people who pose for us better than the longer ones. I think I just go for it and they are looser.
DeleteGood sketching and portrait. Looks like you will be doing 60 in 60 days!
ReplyDeleteI don't think I could last that long, Jo. LOL Thanks!
