Sea Shells

In my guest bathroom I have a glass jar with a collection of shells from assorted places. Some of them are complete shells and some of them are imperfect and may have cracks or holes. I find those interesting too. I sketched just a few on an ATC sized card.

  1. Nicely done! It can get complicated to have all those sea shell patterns and shapes drawn.

  3. What a lovely subject Joan so well painted friend. I have a box of seashells in my art room gathered from many years ago at Myrtle Beach. You are inspiring me to get them out and try a painting or two. Hope you have a good weekend friend. Hugs!

  5. what a beautiful range of colors in your shells. I find shells on the desert here but not quite as dramatic as yours.

    1. Thank you, Julie. Art the desert shells much different? I never imagined finding them there.
