Mickey's Amaryllis

When my sister, Mickey and I came back from sketching the tower and walking in the park I decided I had to sketch one of her amaryllis plants that were on the kitchen table. Two of them were in bloom and were such pretty colors. I have never been able to get mine to grow so I was glad I was there to sketch this one.

    Very pretty, I never had luck with this plant either. You did a super job with this - lovely colour

      Thanks. Mine always had lovely leaves but no flowers. lol I don't think I have enough light to grow them.

    I'm looking around and the world is blossoming all of a sudden.! My trees have blooms .. I LOVE this time of the year. Your Amaryllis is beautifully painted. Love it.!!!
