The Glass Greenhouse is located in Jamesport on the north fork of Long Island.
I went there searching for some color instead of our drab winter browns.
I hit the jackpot because they did have a table of flooring plants outside and I was able to sketch them from the warmth of my car. lol

Complicated or what? You have made a great painting out of this subject.
ReplyDeleteIt's a feast for the eyes, Joan! I love the blues and violets.
ReplyDeleteSo fresh and spring-like! The greens against the blues is just a beautiful touch of color for someone sick of the drab browns.
ReplyDeleteThanks, Polly!
ReplyDeleteCelia, it felt so nice to paint color. lol Thanks.
Sherry, yes...enough of the browns. lol We may be getting some white again this week.
I don't think my first comment went through! This is lovely Joan! You've got great sensitivity of line in the foreground
ReplyDelete...sweet painting, love the watering cans lurking inside :-)
ReplyDeleteThanks Wendy and Kat!
