I love the almost apparition like feel to this piece, Joan. I know I'm a weirdo...Something about stone statues that always give me that feeling though.
This is evocative of a Victorian English garden to me. Intimate but with just a little hint of mystery. I agree with CrimsonLeaves, there is a slightly ghostly quality to the statue, I love that, also some lovely treatment of the foliage here. Well done!!!
