Pelicans

The last thing we got to paint in South Carolina were the pelicans at Murrell's Inlet. I think they are such great looking birds.

    Wonderful shapes to these birds! I picture those beaks as a scupper.

    Pelicans are such interesting characters. They remind me of the Dodo. Not that any of us have seen one to compare. Great sketches.

    These pelicans came out great. We saw lots of them in the Galapagos. Are you sure you weren't there too?

    WOWOW!!! EXCEPTIONAL JOAN!! It was in the 70s today --- the rest of the week in the 50s ... yet even our Bradford pears are beginning to bloom ..
