This weekend the PALS Plein Air Limner Society held their 3rd annual art show at the BAFFA Gallery in Sayville. It went really well. We had framed pieces, matted pieces, prints, books, cards, etc. ... something for every budget.
The group is organized by Jeanne Salucci who keeps our blog going, emails us of our Tuesday morning destination, and coordinates the show. My thanks to her and the other wonderful artists that I painted with this year.
Here is a photo of a few of the members (sorry about the blurry look but I copied it from the internet) taken by Judy Motti of the Sayville-BluePointPatch. She did an article about the show.
I am in the light-colored sweater.
Here are a few photos of some of the work that was hanging in the show.
It is always fun to watch people react to your work and when they buy a piece it is even more special.
It looks like it was a wonderful show, Joan. I zoomed in on all of the paintings...they're all beautiful!!!
ReplyDeleteAwesome looking show, Joan. Looks like your hair is getting long; love it! (I keep trying to grow mine out then every few years I get tired of fighting it and cut it all off! Now I'm growing out a super close to the head cut it all off session. But? At least I won't have to dye it any more.)
ReplyDeleteJoan this looks wonderful and how nice to have friends to share your love of art. Hope you are having a wonderful day.
ReplyDeleteHilda - Thanks. We had a lot of talented people in the show.

ReplyDeleteOkay, I thought I had commented on this one - don't remember "removing" it though. In any case, it looks like a super show.
