Spanish Village Art Center

One of the locations that #VirtualSketch went to yesterday was Balboa Park in San Diego, California. My sister and her family took me there several times when I visited them in the past and I remember the Spanish Village Art Center well. It was fun to sketch there. Too bad I couldn't visit the studios now.

  1. Love this sketch, Joan! A trip down memory lane for me, too. Went there last summer & really enjoyed the open studios. Maybe next summer:)

  3. a Super sketch Joan and the place looks so interesting. I like the touches of colour you did for the stone in the courtyard.

  4. Fun and lovely sketch! Fond memories of the colored tiles and the charming beauty of the place you captured well. The last time I was there 3 years ago, I sketched at this village.
