In Patchogue out at the end of one of the jetties near the ferry to Fire Island is a small lighthouse. I followed the construction of this project for a while sketching some the equipment that was being used. You can see one of those sketches here.
Joan you caught so many delightful details. Makes me think though that this was sketched on a cold gray day. Jumped over and linked to the original sketch. Wonderful too. Hugs!

ReplyDeleteThanks for checking out both sketches, Debbie. I appreciate how you always look at the details. Have a great week.
DeleteCaptured a sense of place perfectly
ReplyDeleteThanks so much, Julie. Good to see you back.
DeleteYou do such a great job in black and white - lovely!
ReplyDeleteVal, thanks so much! I enjoy doing just a black and white sometimes.
DeleteBeautiful. It is stark and gives a cold day feeling. Nice work.
