I think every town around here has a Bay Avenue. This is the view down Bay Ave in Islip. It ends at a small bay beach on the water. I liked the diminishing street lights looking down the road. Of course, like most of the streets here that end at the bay there is no parking along the street. I just ignored that and pulled over on the shoulder to paint for a while.
Glad you ignored it so we can enjoy your beautiful painting, Joan!
ReplyDeleteIt was worth sitting there. Thanks.
DeleteLovely! I'm all for "creative" parking, too, if it's to get a sketch! ;-)
ReplyDeleteThanks. LOL "Creative" parking is something I do quite a bit.
DeleteThis is super Joan. I had to laugh about you ignore the no parking - what you do for your art - lol
ReplyDeleteThanks, Val. I know they put the signs up so people don't park along the road to use the beach. I just wanted to use the view. lol
DeleteWhat a daredevil artist! Love the sketch. Warm and welcoming.
