Yes, I did look up the name of the flower for today's painting for "30 Paintings in 30 Days." This is a tiny flower and I did it live from a bouquet that I bought today. I did something a little different and painted this on masa paper. I guess I have to go back and research how to use the masa paper because I should have a boutique effect and didn't really get that. It did give it a softer look so I am happy with that. This marks just over halfway through the challenge.
#30paintingsin30days"
The other day I did a digital sketch in Sayville using Artrage. I did it from my car and luckily nobody blocked my view while I was sketching (a rare thing in Sayville).
Most lovely Joan! YOu're doing so beautifully well with your 30 painting challenge! BRAVA!

Joan - I think this turned out so lovely. I took time to catch up on all your previous posts. Your foxgloves were simply divine. They are such a favorite of mine. Love too your landscape with the bridge at Fire Island. You are certainly doing a great job with this challenge friend. Have a great weekend.
ReplyDeleteInteresting effect on that paper Joan
ReplyDeleteThanks, Lin! Some days it seems like I won't keep up.
ReplyDeleteTina, thanks!
Debbie, thank you so much. I feel like all I've been doing is searching for an image or painting. lol
Thank you, Lorraine.
Lovely little flower. Isn't Masa paper a challenge? I used it a fair bit last year during the challenge and sometimes use it to make painted paper. I like yur digital sketch too!
ReplyDeleteThanks, Mellowood. I use it so rarely that when I go to use it again I feel like I've forgotten everything I know about using it.
