I love paintings with long, graceful petals, so for Day 14 of the "30 Paintings in 30 Days" challenge I painted this delightful, pink flower.

Last week my sketch group had Krystle for a model.
I think a number of us are doing flowers - must be an antidote for winter - lovely piece.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful flower!!! You are doing a wonderful job for the challenge!!!
ReplyDeleteI love the composition with the elongated petals, and the orange color in the center is gorgeous! Great portrait work too!
ReplyDeleteThanks Mellowed, Oty, and Celia. Right now it feels so cold and looks so stark and wintry the flowers perk me up. lol
ReplyDeleteBeautiful!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful flower - makes me smile!
ReplyDeleteAnd I love Krystle's hat!
Great series of flowers for your 30-days, Joan. Plus a sketch on location, too! Might end up being 60 paintings!
ReplyDeleteYour flower is delightful indeed! Love the long petals and the centre is gorgeous! Great portrait from life too!
ReplyDeleteThanks Sheila, Chris, Michele, and Wendy.
ReplyDeleteMichele, I don't think I'll quite make it to 60. lol
