The South Bay Art Association visited the Bellport-Brookhaven Historical Society Barn last Saturday to sketch some of the interesting historical treasures they have inside. Apparently in May there will be an exhibit (Historic Bellport Visited at the Brewport Coffee House) of our sketches depicting things from the past in the area. I found this great secretary's desk with assorted objects that was fun to capture in ink and watercolor.
I've always wanted a desk like that with all the little cubby spaces! Wonderful capture of it!
