In Bloom

Last week I stopped at the Bayard Cutting Arboretum in Oakdale. It felt like spring and was warm enough to be out of my car sketching. I looked for a magnolia tree in bloom, but the one that I could find only had buds. I'll have to go back and see if it is blooming yet, but by the time I get there it will probably be too late. lol

The arboretum does a wonderful job with tulips, but there weren't too many that were opened yet.

Tracy is having fun if you want to visit.

  2. I always think it is a shame that so many spring blossoms don't seem to last very long. These are lovely sketches Joan.
