Cooper Union

Last weekend I joined the NYC Urban Sketchers down near Cooper Union. When we got to the city it was drizzling so a few of us squashed ourselves under an overhang across from the building to sketch it. Those windows were a nightmare! lol

  1. My first thought was the windows-lol! You did a fantastic job, not an easy subject.

  4. The whole thing looks daunting Joan with the construction zone and the windows. Well done on a difficult subject in a difficult situation!

  5. I am impressed with how well you got the arc of the street light and traffic light across all those windows. Between the windows and the safety barriers, I consider you to have the patience of a saint!

    Debbie, thanks so much.

Sheila, thanks. I like sketching buildings but need to learn how to simplify when it comes to windows. lol

    Val, thank you!

Julie, I started with what was in front and worked my way back. I am patient. lol
