Pansies and Daffs

I don't do still life paintings very often, do I? Last week our portrait group didn't have a model so we set up a still life with items that some of the artists brought along.



Here is a link to my 7th entry in my fake journal, "Alicia's Aquarium Journal." By the time I'm finished I think I will have included every sea creature possible. lol

  1. I love still life so this is a treat for me, Joan. You captured the difference between all the surfaces so well. The cloth is really soft and flowing - glass hard and shiny - and the flowers all perfect.

  7. The cobalt glass is stunning, a favorite of mine. And the Terra cotta pot is wonderful as are the blooms :)
