On Friday I went to the beach at Smith Point. It was the Friday of the 4th of July weekend and it was so crowded. I usually avoid holidays at the beach and didn't think that many people would have the day off...wrong! It was fun to sketch some of the people. I started this directly with watercolors and then did some pen work.
I enlarged this and sat enjoying all the people. How well you captured the spirit of life on the beach.
