Lighthouse Paint Out - Part II

My second sketch for the paintout at the Fire Island Lighthouse was on a smaller scale...only 5 x7. This one was done on the opposite side of the lighthouse.

My last painting was from the bay side with a close look at the lighthouse. I was attracted to the white flowers to the right of the path. I very rarely see flowers there. This is 5 x 7.

EDM - May 18 - lipstick
I don't wear lipstick very often, and when I do it isn't very bright or dark. This is what I wear.

  2. Dear Joan your painting of the lighthouse is lovely. Both views offer great perspective. I would be hard pressed to say which one is my favorite. Enjoyed your sketch of the lipstick. Have a blessed day. Hugs!

  3. Another wonderful lighthouse painting. They are dramatic structures and you captured this one so well - also the close up is a neat painting showing the window. I didnt know they had them low down.
    Love the Clinique!

  6. How beautiful, Joan! This was a fine and productive day for you when you made this trip. I love your lipstick sketch too. I'm with you; I don't wear it often and when I do, it isn't bright or garish.

  7. Thanks, Sherry. I made sure I got a bit of painting done at the lighthouse. lol Doing the EDM on FB you find out how many people don't wear lipstick most of the time. Hope you are settled in.
