Today's painting, "Sunset Glow" is from a reference photo I took in Texas. They have some amazing wide open skies that are wonderful at sunset and at sunrise too.

Sunset Glow by Joan Tavolott

Tonight my sketch group met at Panera Bread for our sketching session. There are always people around for subjects. Sketching with a group is always a fun way to spend the evening.

  4. Joan - what a great landscape. This captured what I would think of as a Texas scene. Don't you just love Panera bread - we have them here and they have the best soup and sandwiches. Thanks for sharing.
