30 Paintings in 30 Days - Day 15 - Sunset Glow

Today marks the halfway point in the "30 Paintings in 30 Days" with Leslie Saeta.
If you want to vote on Sea Dean's blog check here.

Today's painting, "Sunset Glow" is from a reference photo I took in Texas. They have some amazing wide open skies that are wonderful at sunset and at sunrise too.

Sunset Glow by Joan Tavolott

Tonight my sketch group met at Panera Bread for our sketching session. There are always people around for subjects. Sketching with a group is always a fun way to spend the evening.

  1. Great sky Joan and I just caught up with your previous post, I Love the monochromatic sky

  2. You have some lovely work here Joan. I particularly like this sunset. Good luck with the ART PARTY voting and thanks for being part of the fun.

  3. Wow! What a gorgeous sunset! and a wonderful sketch at Panera Bread (a favorite place to go!)

  4. Gorgeous sunset Joan. Keep them coming.

  5. Joan - what a great landscape. This captured what I would think of as a Texas scene. Don't you just love Panera bread - we have them here and they have the best soup and sandwiches. Thanks for sharing.
