This is the time of year that the carnivals start popping up around the area. This one was down the street from me at the Islip Grange. I parked myself so I could have a good view of the ticket booth, but the whole time I was sketching I was sitting next to a food booth. All I could smell was burgers and fries.
Wow, these are community carnivals?? That's so cool! There's nothing like that anywhere near me!
ReplyDeleteThey are small but we have a few come and set up throughout the summer. There is another one this weekend.
DeletePretty fun find! I would not have resisted a burger! We only get carnivals at county fair times. So maybe two a year.
ReplyDeleteWe have quite a few of them through the summer. They are fun to capture, but start to look the same after a while.
