On Tuesday my PALS plein air group met at a house on Rampasture Road in Hampton Bays. It was a super hot day so most of us stayed tucked in the shade to keep cool. I sat the furthest back because I wanted part of this charming house to be part of my painting. I can just imagine sitting in the house which had views of the cove in front of it and then views all the way across the bay to the ocean.
This is a beautiful watercolor, Joan! One of my favorites!!!! The entire scene is perfectly painted...
ReplyDeleteReally beautiful, Joan! This one touches my heart because it is exactly the type of place, and view, that I've always wanted to live in.
ReplyDeleteAmazing Joan - certainly a beautiful painting and it makes me feel as if I am standing right in front of all that loveliness. Your perspective is just fantastic...love how the water is light and then moves the eye back to the background and the other darling home. Take care. P.S. Thank you for stopping by to visit me - so glad you will come back - Hugs!
ReplyDeleteThanks, Hilda. It was a perfect shady spot.
ReplyDeleteSherry, I agree with you about living there. Thanks.
Debbie, thank you so much!
