The other day I decided to head to the beach at Robert Moses State Park thinking that if I left early enough I could stop on the way at Captree State Park and do a small painting. I painted a similar view of this before, but it was tiny. This one isn't big...only 5 x 7. The bridge is one of two that you have to cross to get to the beach. This one connects Captree Island to Fire Island. There was a nice shady spot to paint from and a light breeze...perfect!
Sounds like a great day for sketching. Such a sweet painting and considering the size of 5x7 you got a lot of detail into it :-)
