Spring Planting

Last Wednesday my sketch group met at the library and brought along items related to Spring and spring planting. I think we must have jinxed it since Spring has been nowhere to be found here lately. It even snowed again since then. lol I've enjoyed these nights when our members bring all sorts of treasures that go with the theme.

  2. Dear Joan - just love the subject as well as the composition and colors. I think I must have those green boots...they look like my kind of footwear! With the weather we are having...this is certainly a welcome sight. Looking like it will be a while before I am planting
or digging. Have a great weekend - Hugs!

    1. Debbie, thanks. Spring seems to be on hold up here too. But I did see new green chives popping up in my chive pots that were under snow last week. That MUST mean something. lol

  3. What great subjects to make a still life to paint - timely even if winter is still hanging on. All of these parts are done so well Joan - love the gloves!

  5. Sigh I pretty much have retired from the landscape business, I hope. I do have a few bushes and once I know the frost threat is gone those hollies are getting a haircut. Love the wells!!
