I'm not quite sure what these National Grid workers were up to. They were digging right outside my development. I only sketched the ones that were working...not the ones that were supervising. lol The next day I came out and there were 9 workers in another spot. Two were digging and the other 7 were just standing and watching. Who knows how many I will find tomorrow. lol
I've had trucks by my house all week....replacing old gas lines in the entire neighborhood!!
ReplyDeleteIt looks like they want to finish before winter... Excellent sketch Joan! I like your figure work.
Thanks, Hilda. They are usually working some place where I can't get a good view.
DeleteWonderful scene Joan - you certainly made me laugh with the 9 workers - only two working. Makes us all wonder how many it takes to supervise two!! Hugs! Have a great day friend.
ReplyDeleteDebbie, thanks. There are always more supervisors than workers it seems.
DeleteThis is just super, Joan. I guess the '2 workers, 7 supervisors' is a world-wide fact of life - it happens everywhere - lol.
ReplyDeleteVal, I think that is the way it works. Thanks.
DeleteThis is so typical. Great work, sure caught my eye. You inspire me to get out some of our travel photos of workers.
