I did this continuous line sketch by the pool with Procreate. It seems much easier to do a continuous line on paper rather than an iPad. It just doesn't have the same feel to it. I added color which made the sketch a bit clearer...my water bottle, sunglasses and my beach bag.
I get rusty when I haven't used Procreate in a while. The Creative Spark Scavenger Hunt item was "calming" and since the beach is my refuge when I want to feel calm that's where I headed. Luckily there is a small local town beach in Sayville that I go to a lot. The weather was warm so I happily sat on a bench while I created.
It felt like I hadn't done a digital sketch with Procreate for a while. I played around with the colors which seemed to work well for the red pepper. I was happy with the result. This was one of the items in the latest Creative Spark Scavenger Hunt.
For the Creative Spark Scavenger Hunt one of the items was "odometer." I sat in my mobile studio to sketch this view on my iPad in Procreate. I have to work more with Procreate and actually learn to do layers the correct way. I lost part of what I did in this sketch and had to go back and redo it. Grrr!!!
I visited Smith Point Beach the other day and brought along my iPad. I'm trying to use Procreate a little to get more familiar with it. When I don't use it for a while I forget what I've learned. lol
I've sat down by Sayville Beach and sketched this view many times. This time I used my iPad and Procreate.
