I was out east the other day looking for a view from the vineyards. There are lots of them out there, but most of them are flat and have no exciting view. I found the Pellegrini Vineyards in Cutchogue which had a small hill so you could see the vines in the back going up. Of course the view was from the parking lot.
Mmmm, nice view. Looks like they have flowers at the end of the rows. Seems like I read somewhere that they plant roses … don’t remember the reason.
ReplyDeleteThanks. I read that the roses react to certain things like fungi just like the grapes, so they watch the roses at the ends of the rows to see if there is a problem.
DeleteYou did a wonderful way of capturing the feeling of a hillside of vineyards. Beautiful as always Joan - Happy autumn! Hugs
ReplyDeleteThanks so much, Debbie! The vineyards are a great place to sketch at this time of year.
DeleteNice view even if it did take some searching. You did a good job with this Joan.
ReplyDeleteThanks, Val. Places must think I'm crazy. I drive in, look around and leave quickly. lol
