One day last week I headed over to the Bayard Cutting Arboretum in Great River to see if there was any exciting views of the foliage. I found this curving branch with all the color around it.
Autumn is finally showing itself here, would love to paint some trees! I love the grey tones in the branch highlight the warm leaves, really beautiful!
You still have fall color in your area?? Nicely captured! Ourleaves are a wet, soggy mess now!

Nicely painted Joan! I still have my Japanese Red maple that doesn't want to let go of Autumn!!! All the leaves are hanging in there...lol.
ReplyDeleteYes, we still have some colorful fall leaves, Tina, but the wind the last few days (and today) seem to be taking care of that.
ReplyDeleteHilda, I love when there are trees that still hold on...I wonder why. Thanks.
