I signed up to do Inktober, which is a project started by Jake Parker where you do one ink sketch a day for each day of October. The sketches have to be done only in ink and then shared on any social media with #inktober or #inktober2015. Here is more information about it if you are interested and want to catch up. http://mrjakeparker.com/inktober
Day 1 - Yesterday I went out to do errands and when I came out of one store, my car wouldn't start. I called the auto road service and while I waited I sketched the store in front of me.
My next stop was the local Nissan dealership where I waited while they replaced my old battery with a new one. I sketched a woman in one of the offices that I could see through the window.
There was a woman sitting there in the waiting room so I figured why not?

Day 2 - Today was a stormy day here in NY, so I sketched from a photo I took last year in Bellagio, Italy.
Great inktober sketches Joan. I wasn't sure of the rules. Thanks for letting me know.

ReplyDeleteThanks Carol!
ReplyDeleteI'm glad you're doing Inktober, too! It's fun and also challenging! But only one sketch a day -- it'll be a piece of cake for you! ;-)

Tina, thanks. The hard part will be to leave it just in ink...you know me and color. lol
